California Style : How to dress up in 60 seconds

Oui, rare moment when you can actually see my face not only on my Instagram, but on the blog too. I thought to shake up an ongoing beauty posts thread a little bit and to bring on a fresh outfit I wore a few days ago for an afternoon chai latte stroll in Silverlake. And, oh man, I like it fresh! I like these days when California sun slows up and it’s a bit chill, a bit windy but still very relaxed and you can smell that free spirit in the air. These days I feel pure love to Los Angeles and it kind of replaces my wildest nostalgia to Tel Aviv (just an illusion, I miss it like hell!).

I am definitely improving my “down to earth” California Style lately, and the largest progress I am incredibly proud of – I am not driving my husband crazy anymore as I can literally get dressed in 60 seconds and feel complete with my look like never before. Impressive, hah? My recipe of California Style success : I just grab a simple striped shirt (from this post), my beloved boyfriend jeans (from this post), sunglasses (from this post) and throwing on a fringe kimono (from this old old post) and voila. I’ve also figured out that half top knot is extremely flattering for my face type (or is it only me who can spot the cheekbones on the picture above where I have zero blush), as well as for my lazy hair attitude. So I just stick to it. Here, here, here, here or here you can see the evidence.

What else? Some bohemian blings (can you believe I’ve score that sequined purse for $10 at Urban Outfitters sale?!) and slightly pointed flats (that sounded quite inappropriate to accompany with distressed jeans, but I actually liked the result). And just to remind you all – it is still winter, even if it doesn’t look like it even a bit.

love it! Awesome style and definitely what people associate with Cali style haha. I’ve lived in California my whole life and even though trends have come and gone, this style has pretty much remained the same. Also, everyone tailors it to their own style and taste, of course!

    • Tianna, I couldn’t agree with you more! I’ve recently moved to California and I am so glad I could take my TelAvivian style here and to blend in perfectly:))

    • ;)) I love your coat edition posts by the way, can’t wait to go to Seattle later on this month to finally wear one:))!

      • Thanks 🙂
        Have a lovely week!
