Okay, y’all. It’s finally here and I can barely hide my excitement. Plus, I could barely carve time to dive deep inside the Netflix land this week, but oh do I plan do so this weekend. I’ve been waiting for the new Peaky Blinders season like a kid waits for his birthday, like a pup waits for his lucky moment when the dinner is served and nobody’s looking, like a makeup junkie waits for the new Mac lipstick release.
This remarkable moment when I first talk about tv series on this blog. Because honestly, it’s way more than just that. It feels never enough to fulfill the fascination that I have for that early 20’s era in Europe: fashion, language (no to mention the crisp accent), industrial sceneries, gloominess and overall mystery. The beauty of imperfections. The everyday tension. So many aspects that inspire me in my work (let’s start with Knot To Self and a handful of Knotably projects), in my everyday life, styling, photography and aesthetic choices resonate with the Peaky Blinders world (visuals-wise). This Weekend Edit (yup, it may become a thing in the future) I am sharing with y’all my visual story, pouring myself a
virtual glass of whiskey (this season, with water) and draping myself with some darker shades (see my style choices at the end of the post) while getting comfortable in front of the screen. Shall we?
