I am definitely loving this transition between Spring and Summer that brings us, avid beauty talk lovers, so many new makeup and beauty releases to get excited about. And as an obvious result, to talk about! Today I am going to introduce y’all to the new Jane Iredale The Good Glow summer makeup collection.
I’ve been a huge fan of Jane Iredale makeup since the very first introduction to the brand, and always feel so delighted when Jane Iredale team kindly sends me their new makeup to try. I am also a big fan of a good glow : sun kissed cheeks without sparkles overload. Well, you know me, I am all about the natural makeup look (or close to that). The Good Glow collection consists of three gorgeous bronzers and Flirt Lip Drink lip balm with SPF15.
All of the powder bronzers are beautifully pigmented and are loaded with just right amount of glow, to my taste. Would definitely recommend applying them with a brush, your go-to blush brush would work just fine! There are three different shades in the range of Jane Iredale bronzers :
Rose Dawn (pink and bronze shades on the cooler side):
Moonglow (warm golden delight):
and Sunbeam (more intense pinks and copper shades):
This last shade – Sunbeam – is a bit too dark for me at the moment, and would probably work better on more tanned skin. Yet again, when applied with a brush it doesn’t look that intense on the skin. Also, all of these bronzers can be used as eyeshadows – which is a great way to a) experiment more and b) pack less for summer travels! Bronzers come as a refill, that you can use as is or place into Jane Iredale sleek plastic compact that suits brand’s pressed powders and bronzers. Also, with the bronzers it is almost always “a little goes a long way”, and I don’t think Jane Iredale bronzers would be an exception.
The Flirt LipDrink that I’ve mentioned in the beginning of this beauty story, is actually one of my current favorites! I am obsessed with lip balms, especially with the tinted ones. This is not a new product to Jane Iredale range (I haven’t tried any of their Lip Drinks before though), but the shade is new – Flirt. It has a soft raspberry color, that gives a bit of calm pink shade to the lips and deeply moisturizes. Smells nice too! And, did I mention SPF15? Oh yeah, you may want to put one into your bag!
