When I need a proper boost of new energies (and caffeine is not helping anymore), desk re-organization is the way to go in my case. Both helps to avoid OCD crashes, and has a positive effect on creative burnout that happens from time to time. Life. This is what I have on my desk and on my mind right now:
#1. Caffeine. Okay, it’s not going anywhere. It’s right here in my espresso cup.
#2. Areaware paper clips, so many great designs in that store!
#3. Laptop, tools, Sharpies, fresh magazines (Kinfolk Travel Issue #20), mail, Muji sketchbooks (which are ze-best!)
#5. Rosy lips and cheeks with the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge
#8. Peonies on my mind, same as the Elizabeth and James Nirvana perfume.
#10. Kjaer Weis foundation brush that I’ve been using a lot and find it quite multi-purpose.
