Lately, I am all about that natural glow – inside and out. And while maintaining the inner glow is considerably easy (right that down) – fresh fruits, lots and lots of water, proper sleep, love and overall happiness coming from the little daily things (that’s pretty much all that my inner glow formula consists of), a little help coming from a good highlighting tool won’t hurt. Not just won’t hurt, but also will help to create a fresh appearance, add delicate glow and emphasize the face features (we all have them!). Plus, cover up that lack of an 8 hours sleep, because who can afford that with all the hustle?
Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Powder* scored a permanent place on my beauty shelf right after the first try. I knew this is going to happen after the love ode to Hourglass Immaculate Foundation* in this post. This mattifying mousse-alike foundation has been my minimalist makeup go-to since this winter.
Now, let’s make it (naturally) glow!
Parabens-free lightweight formula of the Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Powder* made me fall in love with it super quick : signature sleek Hourglass packaging design, 4 gorgeous shades to choose from, pearly graceful shine and easy-to-follow application process with a special Light Sculptor*.
I am using Incandescent shade (above) on a daily basis – warm champagne tone. I think this is the most universally-flattering shade from the whole range. Another shade that I love is Iridescent (below) which is more on a peach/pink side and I love the fresh touch that it gives to the face. That kind of a glow that works
even if you’re not planning to apply layers and layers of makeup (that’s me and my no-makeup makeup routine again).
Let It Glow – It’s easy!
Start with your matching shade + Light Sculptor, and apply to the light-loving zones : forehead, nose bridge, top of the cheekbones, under the brow bone, a bit to the inner eye corners, Cupid’s bow. And basically, voila.
