Fall Colors : a glimpse into the latest Jane Iredale makeup release

You got me again – here I am swooning over the new Jane Iredale makeup that is so autumn-appropriate! After I’ve shared all the basic secrets to a perfect coverage with Jane Iredale makeup in this post, and first introduced you to the company’s delicate “skin care makeup” in this post, Jane Iredale hits me with a brand new earthy-colored love.

Everyone’s fall makeup bag would be happy to accommodate these new Jane Iredale makeup items, I am pretty sure about that. New eye shadow colors to match a warm autumn bouquet. New lengthening mascara for gorgeous lashes that should most definitely come together with that woolen fedora you’ve been waiting to start wearing again. New primer & brightener for long crisp air days and overall skin confidence!

So the Smooth Affair facial primer & Brightener* ($48) can do magic, that was pretty clear from the first use. Especially created for oily skin, this primer minimizes the pores, corrects imperfections and reduces shine allowing easy makeup application. That also will help makeup to stay longer thought the day. Even if you don’t plan on putting a lot of makeup and only going to for an essential touch of BB-cream (take a look at this one*!), primer will help you to create a good base, smoother skin and even tone. In addition to that, Smooth Affair* also contains natural extracts (Green tea and Sunflower seed among others) that aim to help control the source of extra shine and to heal blemishes.

Look at these absolutely gorgeous fall colors of Jane Iredale PurePressed Eye Shadow ($19).. I can’t stay indifferent for earthy, warm, forest shades, no no, no chances. These are (from left to right): Forest, Mermaid, Steamy and Iris. I love how highly pigmented these eyeshadows are, yet safe and gentle for my sensitive eyes. These bold new colors totally get me, and my autumn-forwarded mood, and rich on neutrals wardrobe. I would also suggest applying primer before the eyeshadow application, just so you don’t worry how it goes when your day gets longer than planned.

So here’s more about long days, and LONG lashes! I was really happy to add the PureLash Lengthening Mascara* ($24) to my fall makeup bag. It delicately curls, thickens and strengthens the lashes with a proprietary blend of natural elements (Seaweed Lipids and Wheat Protein), while Panthenol conditions. The dual-sided brush is brilliant! Significant length, fuller looking lashes and long wear, with no strings flakes attached.
