Herbivore Botanicals Sea Mist : beach waves without a beach

So here’s a thing, I’ve got a bunch of wavy hair that sometimes is pretty manageable and don’t cause any major troubles, but sometimes… it needs a little kick to start (or finish) the day just right. My face melted into a huge smile once I’ve discovered this new hair treat from one of my beloved green beauty brands out there – Herbivore Botanicals Sea Mist Texturizing Salt Spray ($20). And as you can see, I’ve packed it along my Desert Beauty Bag for our Joshua Tree getaway last week.

Beach waves without a beach, that’s the trick.

With a few easy spritzes on damp hair this mist adds volume and those desired light, defined waves. I also love to use it on dry hair for a quick fix, that helps to refresh the whole curly situation. The good thing is it doesn’t actually dry you hair as many other “beach waves” sprays would do. My point here is : among the Dead Sea salt (that naturally bends your hair into waves!), Herbivore Botanicals Sea Mist‘s formula also contains moisturizing and highly nutritive ingredients to help your locks feel (and look!) hydrated and pampered – Aloe Vera and Coconut water, essential oils of Vanilla and Lime. Oh yes, here’s another thing – my hair smells coconut, and I loooove coconut aroma which immediately takes me on some daydreaming vacation spot no matter if I am actually chilling in the Cowboy pool or sweating around the studio. By the way, the Lavender option is available too.

Herbivore Botanicals Sea Mist is available here, and don’t forget to check out the previous review on some of my other favorites from the Herbivore Botanicals skincare line right here.
