Herbs matter : Isa’s Restoratives natural skincare

Well yes, they do. Especially when we are talking herbs that were locally harvested, hand picked and thoughtfully processed into a whole line of small batch, 100% natural skincare line carrying the Isa’s Restoratives name. I am especially excited to introduce you to this exceptional green beauty company today, guide you through my 5 skincare picks from the line and share the clean and safe skincare love with you by announcing a NEW GIVEAWAY that you’ll find at the end of this post! Along with the herbs, Isa’s Restoratives use botanical elements, plants and organic oils for their products, where each ingredient within a formula has it’s own purpose – effective, mindful, healing and essentially pampering one.

5 products that totally worth your closest attention from Isa’s Restoratives line :

The Blue Beauty Balm was the first product that has caught my interest for a number of reasons : reason one – I love blue color, and blue skincare products that I’ve got to try before, like Lapis oil from Herbivore Botanicals* (read my Herbivore Botanicals story) or The Blue Cocoon from May Lindstrom (handful of my thoughts on this one here) usually end up on a very important place on my beauty shelf. Reason two – I adore balms, for their melting texture, highly concentrated with good stuff only formulas and comforting feeling that they give to my skin. Well, Blue Beauty Balm just proved all of the mentioned above with it’s gorgeous color, soothing herbal scent, natural ability to provide nutritive, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant sources to the skin. I especially noticed how fast it absorbs and how effectively it reduces redness. In addition to that, formula contains Ricebran oil that helps to restore your skin after the sun exposure. This fact itself makes this an ultimate balm for me this summer!

Among ingredients: Shiso oil, Ricebran oil, Babassu oil, Andiroba oil, Sweet Almond oil, Pomegranate Seed oil, Oat oil, Beeswax, Capaucu butter, Chia seed extract, Sesame oil, Shea butter, Borage seed oil, Coenzyme Q10, Rosemary extract, essential oils of Blue Chamomile, Lavender, Carrot seed and Myrrh.

Another wonderful formula to help protect, restore and provide the skin with a bunch of natural vitamins and “skin superfood” elements – Elixir 2 rejuvenate. Think about this one as a toner + serum, two in one, for all skin types, but with a special intention to bring dry and mature skin back to life. Two-three spritzes on a clean face followed with your choice of balm / facial oil or moisturizer fill the skin with soothing and skin-calming Rose and Neroli, toning and cell-regenerating Goji, evening out the skin tone White Tea, collagen production promoting Wakame bioferment, skin plumping Hibiscus and so much more! True relief for a thirsty, tired skin with a gentle floral sent!

Among ingredients : Aloe gel, Acerola extract, Gotu Cola extract, hydrosols of Rose, Neroli, Sandalwood; non alcoholic Which Hazel, Hibiscus extract, Reishi extract, Wakame bioferment, White Tea extract, Licorice extract, Silk Amino acids, Ferulic acid, essential oils of Rose, Sandalwood and Helichrysum.

By now, you may already now that I am a number one fan of clay face masks that come in a powder form! Isa’s Restoratives got two absolutely stunning creations that will help you to step up your Sunday Home Spa! This one is the Activated Coconut Charcoal Face mask that is formulated with both cleansing, healing and anti-inflammatory benefits! Do I need to remind you how delightfully effective Charcoal is for oily, acne-prone and combination skin?! Apparently, together with raw Cacao the purifying and detoxifying properties get doubled! Super anti-microbal action is targeted by Arjuna Bark and Guava extract (which also minimizes the enlarged pores appearance). My tip for Sunday Cleanse in 3 steps : this mask + Elixir 2 + Blue Beauty balm, and voila new skin!

Among ingredients : Red Moroccan Rhassaul clay, Kaolin clay, raw Cacao, activated Coconut Charcoal, Arjuna, Chickweed, Green Tea, Rose, Calendula, Gotu Cola, Marshmallow, Chamomile, Licorice, Comfrey, Guava, Turmeric, essential oils of Lavender, Clary Sage, Palmarosa, Geranium.

New addition to Isa’s Restoratives natural skincare line is this precious number of Matcha Facial mask that is full with anti-oxidant, calming and skin restoring properties. Matcha is well-known for it’s super power to let the toxins go off your body when drinking it, however topically on the skin it does the same effect! Detoxifies, heals and acts as an anti-inflammatory agent. Other elements that make this mask flawlessly beneficial for your skin : Fennel (another anti-oxidant source full of  vitamins), Gotu Cola (anti-aging herbal friend), Aloe (soothing and healing) etc. Family Shrek portraits with this mask on is an additional fun bonus, because there’s nothing like preparing a little bit of the mask “accidentally” and sharing it with your husband, green family selfie pics are sent upon request;).

Among ingredients : French green clay, Kaolin clay, Matcha, Gotu Cola, Nettle, Fennel, Plantain, Chamomila, Calendula, Astragalus, Aloe, Burdock, Pineapple, Kelp; essential oils of blood orange and palmarosa.

Now let’s talk about that delicate area that we tend to address so much attention – eyes! Isa’s Restoratives created Recovery Eye Serum for this very special purpose to be treated daily with the most powerful botanical elements. The cold-pressed oils that form this little (yet very effective) bottle of liquid gold is super impressive, so are the ways Isa Brito (the founder of Isa’s Restoratives) make this happen with her two extremely talented hands from the Nature’s scratch. Use this as a sweet lullaby for your eyes, daily before going to bed. You just take a look at this botanical red carpet line-up:

Among ingredients : organic cold pressed unrefined oils of Red Raspberry seed, Cranberry seed, Andiroba, Argan, Buriti, Broccoli seed, Pumpkin seed,  Sea Buckthorn; Hibiscus, Nettle, Fennel, Gotu Cola, Bilberry, Calendula, Violet; essential oils of Neroli, Rose and Carrot seed.
