Good mail day is when a package full of surprises knocks my door. A few weeks ago my first introduction into Pixi Beauty* makeup collection arrived with a friendly invitation to try some of the new Pixi products and fall in love, completely and entirely. How could I resist? Budget-friendly, multi-tasking and wonderfully performing makeup was waiting for me to go play with. I have a strong feeling Pixi is all about turning makeup routines of those who prefer “no-makeup”, fresh and flawless look, into a very smooth, easy-going experience. If you’re one of those, you’ll be glad to meet these 3 products I am going to share my thoughts about in this post. If not (yet), join my club!
Don’t know about you, but I am being very brows-obsessed lately. I’ve been never satisfied with how they look – I want them darker, straighter, bolder. All the time. This Brow Powder Palette* from Pixi definitely makes my life easier and my mirror reflection more lovable! This palette contains 5 brown color shades (to mix and match the hair and skin tone for the most naturally looking brows) and one nude shade to highlight and frame the perfect brow arch. I am mostly using the third from the top shade, that works just the best for me and easily creates very defined and natural look. And natural is the key word for me! It also comes with a double sided applicator, that is really comfortable to use and customize the brows.
Pixi got a new product to bring some drama to the eyes – Endless Silky Eye Intensify Duo*. It comes in two versions – Blue Eye and Brown Eye. Well, this long-lasting eyeliner basically speaks for itself : it’s silky formula glides effortlessly smooth and creates a firm line with the one main goal – to emphasize the eyes! Blue Eye version has a matte navy-grey plus pearly pinkish colors ( I love that navy side!), Brown Eye includes deep matte brown plus glowing golden shades (I love them both despite the fact that my eyes are turquoise!). These eyeliners may be a little too soft for those untrained fingers like mine, so I figured to keep these two in the fridge from time to time, especially before sharpening. Overall, a great eye makeup product – happy-go-lucky in between an eyeliner and crayon eyeshadow!
Just in time when summer came and strawberries (both in form of berries and daiquiris) need a matching nail polish, Pixi has released a new Nail Colour in Sweet Strawberry. First thing to love about this nail polish is the fact that it is 3-Free (no Toulene, Formaldehyde and DBP). BTW, some of other nail polishes that I’ve tried and loved from the 3- and even 5-Free range are Deborah Lippmann, AILA, Kester Black and Palate Polish (these links lead to my thoughts, not directly to the stores). So Pixi Nail Color is the new one to love and to choose a few totally winning shades from – I’ve already got my eyes on Deepest Dahlia, Mink Grey and Blackberry shades! Oh, almost forgot, it has an exceptionally comfortable brush!
