Taking it slow is a key. You start to realize what is important, what works best for you, what you should focus on in your life. Slow living leads to a harmony – with your inner self, outside world, other human beings and yes, your reflection in a mirror. I strongly believe in this and trying to keep up with this mantra. And I am over the moon that so many of you join me on this life-long travel, so many of you leave your sincere comments and share your stories. I couldn’t be more grateful for the fact that my words, my discoveries and personal opinions find reflection in all of you!

All of this, for sure, inspires me to continue finding the best of the best natural, green and clean beauty brands and introducing them to you right here, on TLV Birdie Blog. Latest skincare discovery of mine inspires me a lot – R.L.Linden & Co. This Denver, CO based company of two amazing women live and create their eco-beauty skin potions up to the highest standards. You’ll meet only raw, organic and plant-based ingredients in their skincare products, you’ll see them packaged in eco-friendly protective glass bottles, you’ll know that most of their products are vegan-friendly and all of them are never tested on animals. Besides an extremely well coordinated skincare line, R.L.Linden also offer beauty tea blends. That’s another story though, now let’s take it slowly into R.L. Linden skincare introduction!

Thousand Petal Beautifying Mist is a hydrating facial toner based on Colorado spring water with an infusion of gorgeous ingredients like Neroli, Jojoba, Rose. It also includes Calendula, that is natural antiseptic and calming skin source. Perfect go-to toner, two spritzes are enough to cover the whole face. The most fascinating thing about this toner is it’s mind blowing floral scent that is able to raise up your mood in seconds. Works as great on the anti-anxiety purposes as a thousand roses bouquet, but the choice is yours! Just a hint, this would serve longer and will directly affect your skin condition in the most positive way.

Among ingredients: Colorado Spring Water, Hydrosols of Neroli, Honeysuckle and Rose, Organic Extracts of Rose and Calendula, Organic Jojoba Oil, A Proprietary Blend of Essential Oils (including Neroli and Jasmine), Natural Preservative Derived from Aspen Tree Bark and A Proprietary Blend of Flower Essences (including Pretty Face and Morning Glory).

Talking about roses, this La Balma Rosa is a healing balm based on organic and natural oils with extra moisturizing effect (Coconut, Jojoba, Meadowfoam, Avocado). It has a wonderful rose scent and even more beautiful peach rose color. First time I’ve opened the jar, it was a love at first sight. Then, I’ve tried it on my lips, and fell in love with it again. It has such a gentle, non-sticky texture that adds both moisture, lovely shine and truly feminine feeling once applied on the lips. Oh yes, it is meant to be on the lips, but you can discover another purposes as well (like with any natural balm!), for example dry cuticles, elbows or other patches that need extra care. I am saving this beauty for the lips though!

Among ingredients: Organic Coconut Oil, Candelilla Wax, Cold Pressed Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Castor Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil (infused with wildcrafted Alkanet Root), Cold Pressed Avocado Oil and a Proprietary Blend of Essential Oils (including Bulgarian Rose).

Calling it a day is also a crucial skin care step that lots of us tend to hurry up with and sometimes it catches us back in the most unpleasant skin punishments. You know what I mean, we’ve all been there. It’s not that hard to learn how to make it right, remove all the makeup and go to bed with a clean, pure face. Oils can help a lot! Your Eyes Only is a very gentle makeup remover that performs nicely as a part of oil cleansing process (you’ll only need warm water and a cotton cloth). It can be used on the whole face and followed by your favorite cleanser, however it contains coconut oil and some of us (like yours truly) are sensitive to it. But! I’ve found a way that works for me with this makeup remover and it’s pretty obvious – I use it for my eyes only! Nothing tricky. Applied on a cotton pad (one spritz is enough) it thoughtfully removes eye makeup and leaves the lashes where they suppose to be. Natural simplicity!

Among ingredients: Fractionated Coconut Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil and Essential Oil of Bourbon Vanilla.

This is my total favorite – The Bee Charmer. I love honey, good chocolate dessert and skin rituals! This is a 3 in 1 for me – refining cacao honey cleanser. Less calories, same pleasure:) This little darling works as a mild natural exfoliant, antioxidants supplier and purifying agent. The smell is simply divine! To make a pleasure last longer, it is also possible to use this cleanser as a treatment mask. Just leave it for about 10-15 mins, massage and rinse with lukewarm water. Perfect for dry and combination skin owners!

Among ingredients: Raw Honey, Ritual Chocolate (Organic Cacao, Organic Cane Sugar), White Kaolin Clay, Organic Cacao Extract, Poppy Seeds, A Proprietary Blend of Essential Oils (Including Bourbon Vanilla and Bulgarian Rose) and Flower Essences (Including Arnica and Buttercup).
