Yesterday, on International Women’s Day, I’ve passed my wishes to all the ladies out there through my Instagram and added “Keep being magnificent!“. Current generation of women, so strong, so talented, empowering and inspiring, keeps on fascinating me! I am happy to be able to introduce you to not only great natural beauty products through TLV Birdie Blog, but to tell you a story behind each brand. Because, believe me, these stories of the women who rule a company, who create and formulate, who deal with every little aspect of the production, packaging, administration etc. and at the same time invest energies into family and personal growth worth to be told. Today I am sharing a story about Lina Hanson – a truly inspiring woman that seems like have enough energies, passion and love to her beauty craft to not only become a successful celebrity makeup artist, but also to develop her own 100% natural skincare line, to spend time traveling around the world and to make a real difference by supporting numerous charity organizations.
In the light of a new (and extremely stunning) product launch, I’ve teamed up with Lina to share my thoughts on her skin care line. And as it tends to happen from the latest beauty collaborations on TLV Birdie Blog, I fell in love with the Lina Hanson skin care products quite deeply, but also with her endless energies and slow living approach. Well, to be completely honest, you can’t consume natural beauty products fast – it’s a sacred ritual! And you don’t need much to make the best of it:
A few drops of luxuriously hydrating Global Face Serum are a great way to start and finish the day with a feeling of a completely dedication to yourself. Absolutely natural source of this serum comes from the thoughtfully selected oils that are hand blended together and packed into a dark container to keep them from the sun. Serum absorbs very quickly and leaves a silky feeling and healthy glow. I especially love the light citrus notes of it, this is definitely something that lifts up my mood and raise some sort of sensuality to this very essential step of my daily beauty routine. Great protecting and nourishing properties with an aromatherapy benefit from the world’s best known ingredients. Also, this serum acts as a decent makeup primer.
Among ingredients: Baobab seed oil, Argan nut oil, Marula kernel oil, Camellia seed oil, Brazil nut oil, Mandarin oil, Vitamin E, Neroli Oil, Palmarosa oil, Frankincense oil, Ylang Ylang oil.
I’ve learned how to turn my two minutes after a shower into a blissful aromatic treatment with Global Body Serum. This body oil made a great impact on me for a few reasons – it’s formula is exceptionally rich yet very quickly absorbing and the least greasy you can only image oil serum to be. But to describe it’s wonderful aroma would be the hardest task – I would say it’s floral, yet no too sweet, with just a right portion of vanilla and soft citrus touches. So far it works great for my body (deeply hydrates, improves elasticity and skin-circulation, acts against stretch marks gently but powerfully), my mood and my soul (I am so crazy for this delightful scent, and so is my husband;)! Definitely a products I wish could come in a few pounds bottle!
Among ingredients: Rice bran oil, Avocado oil, Apricot kernel oil, Argan nut oil, Brazil nut oil, Pumpkin seed oil, Camellia seed oil, Grapefruit oil, Vitamin E, Yuzu oil, Vanilla oil.
And finally, a hit of the day – Satori Perfume oil. Just as always, I will be honest with you. I was quite skeptical at the beginning about natural perfume oil that can possibly replace my daily perfume, I thought it can’t be something I would barely notice on my body, I thought it would be too concentrated and too “hard” for me. Well, my intuition sucks, I must admit. I can’t get enough of Satori since that first sniff full of doubts that has transformed into a close to an addiction feeling within a second. Lina has created this Satori perfume oil as a result of long search and a journey to the Far East, thus it’s scent is as crisp, sensual and exotic as the countries that have inspired Lina on her perfume debut. This perfumes comes in a 0.27 oz container with a roller ball applicator which is really comfortable to apply on pulse zones and décolleté area. A few words about the key notes in Satori : Yuzu (has a refreshing and uplifting effect, “confidence booster” that grows at Shikoku Island, Japan and has it’s origin roots in China), Ginger (well known in asian medicine for numerous health benefits, and in aromatherapy as well – for it’s stimulating and energizing properties) and Sandalwood (grounding effect from an ecologically produced source). My verdict : I am unconditionally hooked on this perfumery masterpiece.
Among ingredients: fractionated coconut oil, natural and organic essential oils blend.
