Well, it’s good to have curls. There are almost zero bad hair days in my life. Sometimes though my hair needs a quick fix, and then the sea salt spray comes in handy. I love using the “Beach Babe” from Not Your Mother’s. The classic purpose of the spray is to make an easy flowing beach waves : to spray over your hair, twist a few locks and let dry. My tip to get the chill beach hair (the same for “just woke up” hair look) is : turn your head down, use the texturizing spray on a towel-dried hair, twist and crease your locks a little, as a result you’ll have more volume and more of that desperate texture.

And now, a real secret. Wondering how to make beach waves hair spray?

You can make your own sea salt spray in less than 20 secs at home. I realized that when I ran out of my Beach Babe spray, and needed a solution asap. Basically, the main ingredient is salt – that is exactly what makes your hair look naturally twisty. So, all you need is : empty spray bottle ( repurpose the one you just finished!), 1 tablespoon sea salt ( kosher salt is also good), warm water and a teaspoon of coconut oil. Mix and shake in the bottle, and go get the beach easy hair look you’re dreaming about.
