TLV Birdie Blog went through several changes, and the global rebranding is one of them. Both on the blog and on social media: Instagram, Pinterest and Tumblr. I believe that visually organized platforms with a consistent style are way more attractive for both current and potential followers, so I put a lot of effort and brainstorming into creating the TLV Birdie Blog and social media platforms the way you see them right now. Recently I started to share my weekly experience on improving my Instagram feed under the Instagram moments tag, while talking about my goals, personal tips and advices on how to make new followers come and stay. On this post, I’d want to share my experience of blog rebranding and creating handmade web design. When I say handmade, of course I mean literally, made by hand.
If you’re with TLV Birdie blog for a long period of time, you’ve definitely felt some difference in the content happened lately: it became more complete and authentic from post to post. Embroidery art and photography that reflect new styling language started filling up the blog, so one day it became unavoidable to change the web design. It took me a couple of days to complete hand stitched embroidery for the header, each themed banner you see on the sidebar (that leads you to the relevant blog posts) and customized social media buttons. After I put them all together into a web design, that “oh,finally!” came to visit. Now TLV Birdie Blog (along with all it’s social platforms) reflect my state of mind the best way, and now I feel super proud of my blogosphere child.
